Hi everyone !

In our lab we have the KEYENCE BZ-X700 and the fluophores mentionned in the mannual are DAPI and GPF.

The protein I will be looking for is conjugated to FITC fluophore.

Since I'm new to this kind of experiments my question is: Can this kind of microscope detect the fluorescence immited by this kind of Fluophore?

Does it depend on the types of fluophore i'm using or on the light cubes that this microscope dispose ?

As far as I understand, I have to know the wavelengths FITC is excited with and see if the microscope can emit it. Is that true ?

Thank you for you help !
