I have the substrate from ExCellness, 24-well plates and 40mm petri dish, which have been coated by silicone derived material. In order to improve cell attachment, I use collagen type I coating the surface. So at the moment, I want to estimate the absolute density of collagen by drying the known amounts of collagen onto the surface to make sure 100% binding efficiency.
My question now is: is there any equipment that can help remove the liquid quickly from the plates? Flash drying was used in other publications, but does anyone know of any other methods?
I agree with Vladimir Totolin's suggestion. If you need only to remove liquid from your sample, you can use either vacuum or just store it in a dessicator overnight. Using heat may affect the properties of your sample, unless you want to do so.

Freeze drying ( you musty not heat above 37°C) if you want to conserve collagen structure (even though, for mass evaluation, this has no real importance). Yet, this is not the fastest way.
