Dear fellow scientists, I'm looking for a fixable viability dye for flow cytometry. Because I'm doing a time sensitive T cell stimulation assay, I need to add the viability dye before starting the stimulation, so it also need to have low-cytotoxicity and does not interfere with cell membrane function. They also cannot overlap too much with channels for GFP, BV421, AmCyan/BV510 and hopefully PE. Does anyone know anything that fits these criteria?

Food dyes must clearly have low cytotoxicity. So, your best choice would be chose a dye of appropriate colour from the available food colorants and pre-test your choice for cytotoxicity.
