I recently discovered a new graphical user interface called the "lavaangui" that makes it spectacularly easy to fit confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation models (SEMs), and even latent growth curve models by drawing a path diagram online (https://solo-fsw.shinyapps.io/lavaangui/). It's completely free, and you don't even have to install a software on your computer.

The lavaangui uses the lavaan package in R in the background and has good documentation also (see reference below).
