could you help me in finding some existence rule bases? No idea about its implementing. I am working with ontologies in protege and I need some knowledge bases to deal with it. if the implementing is important please lead me for some appropriate ones.
If there is not such rule bases could you help me how to create them? (creating them is not focus just want to test ideas)
ps. better if the knowledge bases are in medical domain
Here are a couple of places with a number of different ontologies that may be of use to you (OBO Foundry is particularly focused on the biomedical domain, but Linked Open Vocabularies also lists some medical ontologies). If you require one that actually includes SWRL rules, then I don't know of anywhere that explicitly lists knowledge bases containing rules, sorry.

Hi Saba, your question is a bit confusing, since these terms refer to different things: rule bases, knowledge bases, ontologies. What Matt suggests above is a repository of ontologies. Rule sets (and rule bases) are quite more difficult to find, but from your question I understand that you need to load an ontology in Protege and then run some rules on it. This is quite easy to do in Protege and you will use the SWRL rule language. Please let us know if you need any assistance in that.
actually I want some rule bases like does in expert system, the main concern here is the knowledge of that rules. for example the rules are describing some one opinion about good tablet. and better if it is implemented in the form of if-then rules. It is not the matter for working rules in Protege, I want to use protege for inference and rulebases for getting some information about that inference.
So if you know some of these kind of rules that exist(!) (better with releted ontology) please let me know.
knowledge bases have lots of format, like data bases, expert rule bases and so on, if I understood this correctly (?)
I was going to ask what Efstratios Kontopoulos asked. But, it seems that you really want rule bases. Unfortunatelly, as Efstratios said, it is not so easy to find rule bases available online.
If you want to create rules, using Protege 5.0 beta, you need to access the rule editor. For doing that, you need to go (in the menu) to:
Window->Views->Ontology views->Rules
After selecting this option, you need to select some area of the interface to place the rule editor.

Notice that "" is the tag that is used for representing rules in OWL2; and "filetype:owl" ask for google only owl files as result.

Hi.
I've just found a paper intitled "AN ANALYSIS OF RULES-BASED SYSTEMS TO IMPROVE SWRL TOOLS". In this paper, the authors have analysed what they call "Autism Rules Phenolog ontology". It seems that there is a huge rule based associated to this ontology.
This paper points out that that ontology was discusses in a paper intitled "Using an Integrated Ontology and Information Model for Querying and Reasoning about Phenotypes: The Case of Autism". I haven't found a reference for downloading the ontology or the rule base in this paper, however, i think that you can send an e-mail to the authors asking that.
