Attention everyone! We are excited to announce the launch of our latest research project, Forest Fire Detection, Prediction, and Behavior Analysis (FDPA) website. The destruction caused by forest fires is a major global concern and poses a threat to both human dwellings and forest ecosystems. The effects of climate change and greenhouse gases are further compounded by this destruction.
It is worth noting that human activities contribute to the majority of forest fires. Therefore, early detection is critical to minimizing the damage caused by these fires. With the help of Alzaytoonah University's funding, the FDPA project was launched in October 2021 for one year until 2022. We are also proud to have received collaboration from Jordan's Ministry of Agriculture and Civil Defense Department.
The FDPA project aims to develop an innovative system for the early detection of forest fires, which will enable authorities to take appropriate action promptly. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that the system will be reliable and efficient in predicting forest fire behavior. With this initiative, we hope to contribute to the protection of forest ecosystems, reduction of carbon emissions, and ultimately, the prevention of human and environmental losses.
