I have one and would like to compare it with other well justified expressions for the electrical resistance of a sphere.

Dear Benham, I am not familiar with Kubo's formalism, but I presume it would take me far away from my goal, which is the macroscopic calculation of electrical resistance, not the microcospic calculation of resistivity. Thank you very much for your comments.
