You should provide more details on the setup, at least for me it is hard to see how it works and what you try to measure.

Do you have a way to make sure that both the TV signal and the electromagnetic field are fixed? Maybe there is some problem in the experimental setup hardware that causes this unintentionally. There must be a change somewhere, right?

That's the point - there is no change anywhere. The equipment is set and left alone while the signal is watched on a TV. Intermittent interference begins and then starts to increase until finally, the transmitted signal (which is usually a live image from a video camera) is entirely lost in a maw of surging black static. What I'm looking for is any kind of mundane explanation (I already have a theory about what is happening which was predicted before the experiment was ever attempted). I've already ruled out the one explanation that was given to me, which was the possibility of static charges building up on the device that is rotating the field. I was told to be sure everything was grounded. Did that and the effect still takes place...

Have you tried to measure the strength of the electromagnetic field or the TV signal at the receiver over time?

I see only two possible options:

- TV signal gets weaker and is gradually lost in ambient noise

- the interfering electromagnetic field (or some other interference source) gets stronger, drowning the TV signal over time

(unlikely 3rd option)

- the TV monitor or video cam cannot handle the rotating field and the TV output starts to deteriorate

Cheap ways to test:

- change TV/cam, maybe after the over TV starts to have problems

- after the static appears, power up the TV signal and see if it works again

- after static appears, turn off field and see if TV works again

- measure and see if the power behaves unexpectedly

I'm quite sure there must be a mundane explanation, you have to rule out possible factors one by one.

Here are some detailed replies:

The transmitted signal does not get weaker as it is easy to receive the portion not going through the em field.

2. Interfering electromagnetic field gets stronger...

I believe that this may be closer to the truth.

Most of your cheap ways to test have been done already. I think I'm left with trying a spectrum analyzer.

May be the sync pulses are being distorted or being produced with incorrect timing specs.

OK...The sync pulses for what? If it has anything to do with the transmitter, then the transmission would be screwy all the time, not just when the field is turned on and then deteriorate over time.

One thing I will add is that the transmitter is omni directional and it takes some effort to receive only the signal that is being transmitted through the field. So, while the field appears to be eating up what signal that goes into it, it is easy to see that the transmitter is working fine in those receiving areas free from the rotating field's influence.

Just as an update, I used a remote control and discovered that the field in question is creating a toroidal shape whereby signals are disappearing into the center and not passing through, regardless of which side they enter...

Dear Marshall, how do you solve the problem of being able to set the exact date/place when/where the signal (and eventually humans and ships) must be sent or transmitted. And it may be interesting to find out how big the wormhole has to be to send X quantity of information through. Also, is it possible to set a precise path and speed for this wormhole ? You said that your STDTS EM signal with your Verdrehung Fan produces subatomic holes through space-time, but is it creating one or many of these holes ? How to select one and apply to it the energy required to get as big and powerful as desired ? Thanks for your answer !

Right now I'm not doing that. The reason that I assuming that it is going to the past is do to the predictions on the warping of space-time made by Dr. Mallett, based on his solutions from GR which were not controversial among his critics. I do have a plan for experimentation in regards to the date/time placement but until I have conducted those experiments I cannot provide any detail. In this highly exotic area, I don't like to speculate about things that are not experimentally grounded.

As for the wormhole size, it appears that it is not a single wormhole but many, swirling around whose normal behavior is being interfered with by the Verdrehung FAn(TM) vortex. Imagine a slice of Swiss cheese spinning at the end of a power drill. The holes are very small but the longer the cheese spins, the bigger they become. When they were small at the beginning, a squirt gun couldn't shoot water through them, but as they increased in size, the squirts of water started getting through. In this case, the holes in the cheese are the wormholes and the water is the RF and IR photons being beamed at them. The quantum theory of wormholes would have to be taken into account as torsion physics were applied to that region of space-time. My original focus was on the pleating effect caused by the torsion but them realized that the quantum foam of space time could be effected by this as well. Now, increasing the power by 10 times or more (or maybe even less than that) could very well conceivably result in all those tiny wormholes being enlarged to the point that they become on big one. Here's another point - the matter of stability and staying open - all those calculations are based on one wormhole that is grabbed and forced open. It requires exotic matter and negative energy according to GR. But guess what? The Ferdrehung Fan(TM) solves those issues as the mechanical rotation provides both the stability and the conditions for the hole to stay open. Remember, the size increase in the hole is created by the Verdrehung Fan(TM) to begin with, so it is already in control.

Currently we are preparing the research to not only increase size but to address the destination issue. I can say one thing - in part, we will be applying an idea derived from, but not exactly due to, the research of H. David Froning. Two things about that - first, he and his colleagues have worked on the idea of conditioning EM fields. Two, there are other sources for similar approaches but not for the same purpose. I am encouraged but the similarity between these ideas and others that I have developed myself. That is how I do my work. I look for a fundamental basis established by others or by known laws of physics that might be applicable in other areas, or even done a different way, that would provide a direction from which to proceed with original research. Many times the sources are obscure or perhaps even anecdotal, but even anecdotal evidence can be tested for validity. Unlike most physicists (I am not a physicist though, I'm an engineer) I have much more freedom. I only answer to my investors and they don't care what I do, as long as it results in ways of making money...

Marshall, first of all, thanks for your detailed answer, very appreciated ! Your analogy about the formation of wormholes as a piece of cheese spinning on a drill made me laugh, but in the same time, I realized I had approximately the same image to visualize the phenomenon as I imagined a fractal form composed of a big circle at the center and others equally distributed on its circumference to the infinite... But if I understand you well, you mean that as you push energy (as water in your e.g.) into one wormhole, others around are merging with the one selected and gets bigger proportionnally with the quantity of energy injected, is that right ?

For the date-time deplacement problem, the conditioning of EM fields looks like a relevant way to approach the problem. But can we really talk about a precise path if the travel is out of space-time (non-locality principle in quantum theory). We may talk more in terms of a succession of warp "jumps" to create a path if the modulation of the EM field does not allow us to know exactly where/when the wormhole will go in time and space (thinking loud, if a wormhole opens a door into the fabric of the universe - the space-time foam - in which realm of reality or dimension are the object that passes through ???)

To resume, a specially generated EM field applied to a fan that leads the EM field to rotate and create a torsion effect on the very foundations of the universe and your particular knowledge about the nature of these foundations inspired by teleparalellism UFT is at the origin of your STDTS signal. So according to the Air force report on teleportation, you seem to take the direction of the Extra-dimension-teleportation, a paradigm that solve the problem of alledged paradoxes that cannot exists if you always go into a parallel past or future via extra-dimensional portals (over space and time dimensions), am I correct ?

Seems like a "game changing" technology in lithium-Ion battery from a silent company associated with Tesla motors to democratize the electric car. I had some set-backs with Blurb as a platform but have finally over come them. The book is being finalized now so it should be out soon. As for the experiments, we've been concentrating on building a systems platform that will work with the Verdrehung Fan to hopefully achieve our goal. Time has been tight however with many other demands that have happened in regards to deadlines for papers for conferences, and other business. I expect to try our next level of experiments the weekend prior to July 25 when I have to be in Boston to deliver a presentation at Harvard. 

So that's about it. I'm expecting the book to be online this coming weekend...

I forgot about Bluestar - yeah I know about it.  I have plans for a completely different type of car company that will have cars that will use some lithium batteries but will sport another type of drive chain that will make it better than both an all battery electric or a gasoline fueled car. The business model was complete last month but we need more work done on the technology. I estimate that by the time the technology issues are solved, that the business will be ready for an immediate launch. It is designed to be a global company aimed at low income people or those on a budget that want to save money who won't be able to afford a Tesla at any price. 

I expect that it will launch in 2017. 2016 is when we're doing our first space test of the STDTS(TM) technology.

Thanks a lot Marshall for this update. I just have one point to underline. I follow you on Internet for the last 3 or 4 years and you were supposed to test out the STDTS in space at the end of 2014, then at the end of 2015 and now 2016. I can conceive that it's something that require TIME to be done properly, but sometimes I think that this whole story of low energy warp drive could be a kind of creativity trigger for your followers to search more about it and imagine outside the box solutions according to the hints you give about a technology that still haven't passed peer reviewing for intellectual property reasons (a good alibi to save credibility between you and me !). From what I read about you and your work-career, I have a great respect of what you've done and you are the most credible researcher on warp drive I've ever read, but the fact you already developped those kind of creativity triggers in the past raises a microscopic doubt in me, but still a doubt !. However, I still have trust in you as a precursor of a much better world, so please don't deceive me, ok !!!  ;-)

And about Bluestar, it's a pretty good idea to optimize the drive chain in order to gain performance and autonomy, but why don't you equip cars with your STDTS tech, seems it would acts like an optimized drive chain to use lithium battery or gasoline more efficiently ? I conceed its a bit basic explanation !  By the way, is it what you consider as a paranovation, like modify and improve something that already exist ?

One, it takes a lot of money to do any of this in a constantly changing business climate. I announced on twitter in 2012 that our focused had changed temporarily to the Verdrehung Fan because it was cheaper to prove and used the same STDTS technology. What happened? We matched the both requirements laid out by Ronald Mallett to be a time machine by November 2013. It's doing things that shocked all the scientists that saw it, things that wouldn't be possible unless STDTS worked. Also, I never said anywhere that I was going to test STDTS in space in 2012 because to do that then was going to cost over $1,000,000. Now, because of input from my research time, we have the cost down below that. 

As for passing peer review, I've presented information on this research at 5 major science conferences.  Before you are allowed to present, your abstract has to pass peer review (see what people who have seen my presentation say for themselves http://www.prlog.org/12214291-marshall-barnes-rocks-100-year-starship-symposium.html ). This year my abstract on the Verdrehung Fan was subjected to intense scrutiny and I was still allowed to present and it blew the audience away. The only peer review problem I have is that I've been told that journals would want all the details including how the signal responsible for the field is generated. That's not an option, not only for business reasons but National Security. Other than that I would do it. Besides, I'm not a scientist at some institution. I'm an R&D engineer. The D is for development and its impossible to develop something you can't protect. People think peer review is some magic stamp of scientific approval. How many people have died from pharmaceutical drugs? That's how good peer review is, because all that stuff is published in journals first. Almost every theory I've shown wrong was published in a peer review journal first. Reliance on peer review is for amateurs and morons. I only care about reproducible results.

The fact that the VF is working as it does, proves my point, about STDTS. 

Furthermore, I don't have any "creativity triggers". No one else is going to figure this stuff out because it requires the kind of thinking that Vannevar Bush talked about but was ignored. As part of my presentation at the ISDC in May, I included a puzzle that I challenged the audience to solve that the ancient Greeks could've but didn't. I included it after I ran the quote from Vannevar. At the end of my presentation I presented the solution which shows how Euclidean geometry can be scaled up to describe elements of quantum mechanics and relativity theory, and it stunned the audience and I looked at them and said - "That's the kind of thinking that enabled me   to figure out the STDTS and the Verdrehung Fan'.

I'm not rich, and I've sacrificed everything to make all this possible. I'm a mere $3,000 away from the last stage I need to be in order to reach the ultimate goal. Doubt? MIcroscopic doubt? Sorry Marshall if I hurt you, I didn't mean to. I don't know each and every above mentionned details about your personnal/professional life and that's why I can't trust someone I don't konw pretty much, like everybody I think, You're totally right when you say that you don't give a damn about people's doubt, I tried to say that in a humoristic way, but because English is my second language, my syntax is incorrect sometimes and doesn't express all my thoughts and feelings properly ! So, all that I wanna say, it's that I can't wait for further developpements and so many researchers in the field of warp drive and time machine deceived us in the past few years, like Natario, Mallett, and recently White. Finally I just want to believe in you, and maybe that's why I pushed you a little bit to argue in that way. Now I can trust you a bit more with the answer you gave me !  All I want is something solid to get my teeth into, like a book, a big event-announcement-experiment or a new paper release !

While we are waiting for your book to get out online, can you please give us some more details about your time travel geometry ? I already know that you think a closed time-like curve, as seen in four dimensions, has a spiral shape. So when you look at it a little bit, it looks like a couple of parallel circles like parallel dimensions as you are going back in time. So its no more a closed but an open time-like curve if we follow an easy reasoning. But what do you think about the possibility of targetting exact parallel time coordinates, and then come back to our own parallel reality and if its all done in the time it takes to do our round-trip from our present to a precise parallel past and the comeback ?

I imagine that until the wormhole generated by a STDTS signal stays open its ok and the time spent in the past remains the same as if you stayed in the present, but if we cut or lose the signal and try to reconnect, do you think we'll be able to reach the same time coordinates ? Is it just a question of precise modulations-settings of the STDTS signal or a power increasing matter, like the more you have a high input of energy to supply your STDTS, the further you can go back in time throught that kind of spiral shaped tunnel ? 

Also, if you just want to use the STDTS as planetary transportation system, how do you do to always stay in the same parallel reality (our own) but travel great distances in few seconds ? Finally, how can you use the STDTS as a space travel machine in our local timeline and as a time machine in parrallel timeline ?  I know that space and time are indistinguishable, but I need your lights to go further in my reasoning.
