The current plan is to have a reference furrow (without irrigation) separated from the "treatment" furrows (with irrigation) using a buffer furrow which will simply be monitored and not irrigated (to reduce interflow due to irrigation).

2. What data analysis techniques can probably be applied to create interpolated soil moisture maps from the soil moisture sensor data, particularly during the irrigation event?
