Does somebody has any experiences with gluing glass or glass ceramics inside a vacuum chamber?
I need to glue a window onto a later passively pumped glass ceramic body, which is evacuated inside an external vacuum chamber.
We were thinking about using Indium wires and press the window onto the body to form a sealing, but it will be hard to do so with an automated, servomotor based setup.
One of the Servos can do around 600g and we can install roughly 4 of them. I also wanted to look for stronger, around 10-20kg servos if no traditional gluing could be done.
Any experience with using glues inside vacuum environments could be useful! Thank you
