Hi all! I am trying to submit a paper in an Elsevier journal. They have switched over to Evise submission system in which I am facing issues in PDF file creation before final submission. According to the help line, their technical team is trying to resolve the issue. It has been three days now and problem is still the same. This is frustrating. Anyone else know a solution, please? Thank you!
I am facing quite similar problem. I submitted a manuscript, and not easy to create PDF file. After several tries (change the files to pdf form before submission), I got the pdf preview. Thought that it is ok, but after 3 days, an automatic email came and said they not be able to create that submission preview from mine, and could not send to editor. (Though when I come to the submission site, I still can download pdf file). I still do not know how to solve this problem. Hope things go well for your case
Hi! It is sad that you are facing issues. In my case, after waiting for 15 days, multiple calls and complaints, I gave up and decided to submit my paper somewhere else. The most disturbing thing was a remark from their help team which was uncalled for. I refuse to be discriminated on any basis. I called USA help line and registered my complaint there also. But no one called back. So I gave up. They should have allowed us to use older system since this was not working. Totally strange attitude from a renowned company like Elsevier. Now I keep getting reminders every 15 days or so to complete my submission, which I ignore. I have decided not to submit in any Elsevier journal at least with Evise submission system. I also faced similar problem with Evise. With EES it was much easier to create and view pdf. I gave up after several tries and switched to another journal for submission
Today, I have submitted one through EVISE. It seems very nice and smooth so far.
Thank you all for giving your experience. My problem is I already submitted successfully my manuscript. But 5 days later, an automatic email informed that they could not generate submission preview, hence it cannot send to Edition (status with journal has remained for 8 days). We have send an email to ask what the problem is, for 4 days, but till now no reply for us.

Good luck, Nguyen Thi Thuy. Honestly I don't have any solution. We only have Md. Mostafizur Rahman here with a successful submission. I am eager to know if the issue is resolved.
