What should be the multidimensional nature of EV charging station in urban and rural areas?
I've been looking at this from a rural point of view as part of the transition to Net Zero. The dimensions I would suggest are: i. use type(s) of the community using the charger, i.e. how often will they need to charge? what times of the day? how many vehicles at the same time?; ii. grid capacity and energy generation options at the charging site. i.e. can renewable energy and battery storage be integrated?; iii. integration with other infrastructure, i.e residential and commercial building energy systems for EV to grid capacity.
These dimensions would apply to both rural and urban locations but have different answers depending on the location. Overall its about the right charger, in the right place with the right capacity.

1. Matching station capacity (energy and space) and the number of vehicles expected to handle
2. Type of vehicle: whether all type of vehicle be managed in one type of station
3: Whether quick replacement of battery is good alternate of charging
For immediate infrastructure creation, all Fuel filling stations should also have EV charging stations.
Can EV charging station be built at the premises of petrol pump? It may save land cost. But other factors.....

Hi Surajit, your domains look fine, battery swap technology looks more suited to smaller vehicles, scooters or bikes etc or else commercial vehicles and is another dimension to be included.
Battery swapping may save time. How can the information of availability of type of battery be shared? By mobile apps?
