I extracted movement data from ethovision, time (cumulative seconds) in which the individual moved and did not move in an arena for 600 seconds. Unfortunately, I set an erroneous threshold of 20mm/s start velocity and 17.5 mm/s in which stop velocity for my individuals (which have average size 6mm). I lost the videos and cannot re-run the tracking with a new threshold.
I wonder if it would be possible to determine approximately with no chance to put back the tracking data in ethovision, How much the individual moved in seconds over the duration of a 600 second trial? Using the data I have, including distance moved (mm/s) and velocity (minimum, average, maximum, and total in mm/s) with a NEW velocity threshold saying that at 5 mm/s the individual moved and at 1mm/s the individual did not move.
Example:
the individual cover 2000 mm/s of distance moved in 600 s with velocity:
minimum velocity 0.0256465
average speed 3.61442
maximum velocity 93.0706
total speed 61329.4
with threshold of 20 mm/s start velocity and 17.5 mm/s stop velocity, the results are:
moved: 9.26657s
not moved: 560.894s
with the NEW threshold of 5 mm/s start velocity and 1 mm/s stop velocity, the results are:
moved: 443.627s
not moved: 157.102s
Happy to provide more info. Thx so much for the help
