nice to hear, that you want to use the Focinator. First of all to solve your problem, you should use ImageJ. Which version of ImageJ are you using? Do you have BioFormats importer installed, do you use R? Which version? Can you explain a bit more, what you did before you got this error? I think you were trying to run it as a plugin, but actually you should start the highthroughput Focinator from R.
For a manual please take a look at our homepage: www.focinator.com:
" Install ImageJ bundled with Java 1.8.0 or higher (recommended folder: C:\ImageJ)
Unpack the Focinator zip file for example into a folder on your desktop.
Copy "focinator.txt" into your "ImageJ\macros" folder.
Copy the "bioformats_package.jar" in the "ImageJ\plugins" folder.
Install R-3.4 language.
(Recommendation: Additionally, install RStudio)
Double-click on the R-file: "Focinator v2-22.R".
R-Studio should open.
Press "source" and the new interface pops up."
We are working on a more detailed guide for the future.

Hello, Nathalie, I tried your step by step guide, however, the focinator menus don't appear when the imagej is opened automatically by R file of "focinator v2-23.R" . I have installed R 3.5.3 (and R studio as well) as there was error message for Gtk and a few more files due to an older version of R 3.5.1. It seemed very interesting in the beginning but after a lot of attempts in the past week, I am almost on the edge to give up. I am using windows 10 platform (64bit). In the beginning the error message was same like Liang Jiang, but after a few attempts now the error message has changed to "imagejpath" not found.
I would highly appreciate shall you be able to pin point where am I going wrong with installation.
