Entrepreneurship research: in few words, there’s too much talking, yet little generalizability of what comes out of most of the studies. In fact, in many papers that are published in highly regarded journals you’ll find evidence of contradictory results despite the similarities in the contexts in which these studies were conducted. Moreover, some studies that we as researchers might consider novel have actually very weak theoretical grounds in that the rationale underlying it can be either tautologically true so it’s not a theory or can be completely contradicted by more well accepted theories. Isn't that Interesting!

Actually entrepreneurship itself as a new theory and is not that much old concept. That is may be the reason of weakness in research related issues. In my observation, many new entrepreneurs don't read any research papers to start or improve their business.
In spite of the weaknesses but I think it a has value and hope will create more values in near future. Because, many of the business students are
interested to become an entrepreneur rather good executives or even have an inner dream to become an entrepreneurs. Although they are still an executive.

You can only write research according to your finance, environment, need for achievement such as promotion etc. Don't forget that in some developing countries, some researchers are not exposed to grant awards and even technologically development such as internet and salaries are not paid monthly. How will these researchers contribute meaningfully to new issues under study? I believe over time, some leaders in developing countries will pay attention to researches and boost ways of developing their academics. Opportunity to visit libraries to search new theories is like looking for "water in the desert". Some libraries still have books up to if possible year 2000 below.
Please bear with some of the researchers predicaments!
I see great ideas in Prof. @Stella TOYOSI Durowoju 's answer. Clearly the entrepreneur needs to understand or surround himself with people who understand finance, marketing and human resources. I think the product / service offered represents exactly the differential that it brings. At least in Technology it has observed this standard, from the assemblers (Ford, GM) to HP, Microsoft, Apple and Facebook.
