Hi, I'm struggling to obtain core-shell alginate-gelatine structures that are nicely sphered capsules. I use a 2% w/v CaCl2 bath for immediate gelation of the sprayed capsules. Currently, however, the vast majority of sprayed drops are formed like flattened discs. I´m thinking it could be due to too high gelation rates in the bath. Any suggestions to circumvent this?
