I prepared a MOF, ZIF through solvothermal method. I run the cyclic voltametry with following conditions. I opted the conditions from the literature.
Electrodes : Glassy carbon electrode (WE), Graphite (CE), AgCl (RE)
Electrolyte : Phosphate buffer
But the peaks started diminishing after few cycles, say around 20 cycles. I understood this is because the electrochemical cycling stability of MOF is lesser. I would like to know how the electrochemical stability of the MOFs can be improved via some means. Thank you.

In your case, you can try modifying the surface of your ZIF MOF with conductive polymers or metal nanoparticles to improve its electrochemical stability. Additionally, you can also try selecting a different electrolyte that is more compatible with the ZIF MOF structure.
