Dear all,

In one of my experiments (Psychology), I administer an eletrical stimulation.

I would like to know how to calculate power peak, Power average, pulse energy.

I found that:

Power peak = Voltage * Intensity à unit = watt

Power average = Power peak * pulse width / frequency

Pulse Energy = Power peak * pulse width = Power average * frequency

Here some links on the calculations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_(physics)#:~:text=In%20physics%2C%20power%20is%20the,Power%20is%20a%20scalar%20quantity

In my case, the stimulation waveform is biphasic. Are these equations valid for the type of stimulation I would like to deliver?

Thank you in advance,

Martina
