With the rise in the application of Distributed Energy Resources, RESs and forming Microgrids, these parts have different dynamics compared to Conventional Power Plants(CPPs). Mainly, Power Electronic Interface Generation (PEIGs) don't have any inertia compared to CPPs that causes instability problems and frequency excursions/deviation.

It is mainly confirmed that CPPs determine the dynamics of the power system, meanwhile in the context of microgrid with high penetration of RESs, it should be different.

Thus, It would be great if there will be a discussion here on this subject and clarify it.
