Will the El Nino 2018-2019 be worse than the preceding ones?

And what comes next: permanent disruption of main world ocean currents and it's consequent catastrophic effects on world climate?
The rapid evolution of the El Nino-La Nina cycles should be a cause of concern.
Catastrophic, cataclysmic climate change may be much closer than we all think.
Altering of global ocean currents is a major concern, as it drives the Earth's weather patterns.
If these currents are already shifting, then we are late in our action.
International plans to change global warming over 10 or 20 years may be too slow an undertaking.
Do we need to act in a radical way today? Now....2018-2019?

The climate has become a hot topic [ pardon the pun] for many outside the field
That it may affect all of us in the future, is what drives this interest.
The message coming out of the field, though is very confusing to us lay folk. It would be great if there was a conference and debate among experts to unify our thoughts on what the problem is, what the scale is and what do about it, if anything
