Hello everyone,

one of my scales seems to have a good overall reliability (α = .826) but some of the subscales have poor reliability (around α = .65).

What could be the reason for this occurence? Is it something I should be concerned about? What can I do?

Also only two susbscales are significant in a multiple regression, while the other two are not. The non significant susbscales in the multiple regression seem to be significant when considered alone. I found out that this seemed to be the case because the other two subscales explain the effect of the non significant subscales as well, is that true? And is this concerning as well?

I am pretty new to statistic, so I would really appreciate help!
