Hi guys,

I have been working to make probiotics using freeze dried L.crispatus. I am using 10% skim milk and 15% trehalose + lactose (1:1) as cryoprotectant. Bacteria seems to survive in skim milk but viable count drops by 100 times to that of before freeze drying and it does not seem to survive at all in trehalose + lactose and I can not wonder as to why it is happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Than k you
