I've been in RG for a while now, wandering through materials on ecological restoration. I have consulted in some detail a literature review article on this subject (2022)... and I could say that the social issue is left out of the vast majority of publications, and therefore we can think that it is also left out of the considerations that, in practice, are made in restoration projects. In the medium and long term, ecological restoration is a field in which I would like to develop as a sociologist. I would like to initiate here a discussion on the role of applied social sciences in the framework of ecological restoration, with special emphasis (expected) of ecological restoration practitioners and scholars to bring their vision of social elements (cultural, community, political, etc.) in the framework of ecological restoration projects (or scientific production).
