Repeated comparison experiments should be used. Comparison of proteins under normal conditions with proteins under drought stress conditions should be performed. Experiments should be performed in the form of repetitive experimental designs. In addition, different levels should be evaluated and compared, including the differences in the level of DNA, the level of presence or absence of protein, in the level of protein expression, in other words, the levels of genomics and proteomics should be examined.
The reduction in the quality of grain legume seeds is due to drought-induced suppression of protein production. Protein accumulation in legume grains is reduced when both partitioning and fixing of nitrogen are inhibited in water-limited conditions. Protein quantification is necessary to understand the total protein content in a sample or in a formulated product. Accurate protein quantification is important as a range of other critical assays require precise total protein content results in order to generate data. Protein characterization plays a critical role in determining the safety and efficacy of biological products, and as such there is a need to continue to improve the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and robustness of protein assays, and to develop novel assays that target specific areas of concern.Having a protein structure provides a greater level of understanding of how a protein works, which can allow us to create hypotheses about how to affect it, control it, or modify it and knowing a protein's structure, could allow you to design site-directed mutations with the intent of changing function.
