Hello, i have a doubt in calculating the compaction pressure value for a aluminium compact of 30 dia and 15 mm height , which is pressed in a 100 tonne press machine.

As i Know compacting pressure = applied force/die area;

but how much force being applied is not able to find.

During compaction the machine shows 100 Kg/Cm^2 as a applied pressure, but it is not equal to 400 MPa ,but for my application i want to give 350 MPa to 450 MPa.Please help me how to find that ,the maximum applie pressure in the machine is 400 Kg/Cm^2.
