If you put two cameras  one with a red filter and one with a narrow band near Infrared filter if you subtract the Red form the Near Infrared and divide it by the Red added to the Near Infrared it will give you the NDVI of every thing you photograph. With the proper choice of filters that will let you know if a crop is stressed 2 or 3 weeks before you can see it on the ground.

If you add a camera on and articulated arm with 5 or 10 X magnification and several colored LEDs on a Quad Copter it could land and scout insects in the crop.

I can literally let you be in many more places in lot less time. If it has the ability to fly its self and carries enough fuel you can check cattle 30 miles away while your planting or harvesting a crop some where else.

I see a cattle man needing one that can stay aloft for hours looking for lost cattle. And everyone needing one to send over the mud hole or to a spot that looks bad to set down and have a look and see whats wrong when it's too muddy to get there.

To me it could be handy a pockets in a shirt.
