We are going to assay apoptosis in mice blastocysts with TUNEL assay kit, but we observed that different papers have used different concentration of PFA such as 0.4%, 0.5%, 2%, 3.7%, 4% with different duration incubation from 15 min until 2 h. Which of them is correct?

I have never worked with mice blastocysts, but usually for urchin blastulas or sea star blastulas, we use 3.7% for 20mins, followed by washes in 1X PBST
I feel that the time of incubation varies with the % of PFA that is being used. I guess lower the concentration more is the incubation time.
