Cartesius principle of "preservation of amount of motion" agrees with such a notion i.e the upward phase of gravitational motion (raise) equals the downward phase (fall) of gravitational motion if described as pull and push motion phases in gravity phenomena, thus validating for conservative fields the notion of pull and push as motions

Intuituitively though, the line is more of a useful convention, albeit an extremely fruitful one, that generates Newtonian mechanics.

One wonders if the line is blured i.e we disort reality the other way thus Creating a new model of reality, something with some predictive power may emerge. As far as I know not even philosiphers of science or general philip have touched it
