Kindly be specific, during manufactur, it is not considered an energy saving. During installation and erection it is also not energy saving. During the use as residential or commercial use, it is also not energy saving.

Dear Hussam:

Regarding the energy performance of precast concrete structures, the most energy efficient component is the precast concrete insulated sandwich panel which features an insulated core sandwiched between concrete layers. This component can be used a loadbearing wall panel as well. The energy efficiency depends on the thickness of the insulation layer, as well as the connectors used to link the concrete layers. In the USA it has become very popular and competes effectively with other systems used for commercial buildings.
