The term “greening” refers to the actions and initiatives taken by governments, organizations and stakeholders aiming towards conservation. The phrase to “green” something, does not only refer to the literal act of planting trees or other type of vegetation on a rooftop or in a vertical garden in a city, but also expands to the restructuring of an entire economy. Both of the above even though extremely important, contain other topics of discussion, similar to “green washing” and “environmental capitalism”.
