The kinetic energy of electrons will certainly increase due to absorption of energy from the electric field of electromagnetic radiation interacting with the nanoparticles.
When you illuminate anything with light it is heated. The temperature depends on the intensity of light.
But the phrase "the temperature of the plasmons" does not make sense. Temperature is a characteristic of an equilibrium between the physical system and a bath.
