Does the isothiocyanate group form reactive sulphur species to cause it cytotoxicity?

Trying to link a drug containing isothiocyanate to reduced cell viability. My current idea is the formation of protein adducts by reactive sulphur species interferring with disulphide bonding. But I'm not too sure this is correct.
