Standard Hausen's correlation for Nusselt number predicts heat transfer coefficient which are found to be lower than those measured experimentally in a pervaporation process. What could be the possible reason for this deviation?

yes sure, this occurs due to the internal energy carried by particles transfer from side to another. We can be sure of that due to the fact that heat transfer using nanofluids is better than using normal fluids.
