This is not my field, so please excuse the naive question, but I'm wondering if the slowing down of the Earth's rotation, and the corresponding lengthening of the solar day, however small, are of a magnitude that could potentially have some effects on living organisms, specifically on their biological clocks. I realise this is probably unnoticeable in animals who do not live long, still I wonder what would be a threshold of relevance. Thank you!
