There are two components of sulfate ions for acid rain, one from the sea and the other from pollution. Does the sulfate ions from the sea contribute acidity to the rain.

Also based on the chemical composition of acid rain (concentration of sulfate and nitrate), is it possible to derive the pH prior to neutralization by other ions?

Thank you :)
