I plan to inhibit the amplification of my DNA predator during faeces analysis using generalist PCR primer for prey DNA analysis. I have already design modified oligonucleotide (C3 spacer), and now I have to test them.

However, I read that PNA are better to inhibit PCR elongation. It is most expensive (between 400 to 600 euros). Therefore I want to know if the design of PNA is easy, ie if I order only one PNA, or more than one because, as oligonucleotide primer, they may not operate.
