I'm working on oyster project but there is some numbers I just can't find such as the substitution rate, mortality rate, and fertility rate. I need those rates to plan the total number of animals.
The species are the Crassostrea angulata, the crassostrea gigas, and the Ostrea edulis.
If anyone knows something about this species, please, share! Thanks
Hi ! Here in eastern canada, we have a salted lack that contains Ostrea edulis, which are not native for us. This said, this publication might give you some info (especially from his bibliography):

I 'm looking for edible oysters at the moment , more specificly for rates to estimate the final numbers of animals at the end of the year . I have had some trouble finding these fees and are essecias to know effective in each stage of growth .

Another question I have is: several articles say that the larvae are mostly males and that only in its sexual maturation is what gives a sex change. Assuming their parents have already left the exploitation due to their sale. So how does the offspring reproduce? Will be because each female produces about 500 million eggs?
