I have a specific question about VR and AR in professional use.
VR and AR can be used in controlling robots and machines. This is possible if the VR and AR devices and robots are networked together. I wonder how this can be used to help foreign employees understand the language better. After all, virtual control is precisely what reduces the need for language skills. Is there any opinion or scientific source on this?

I suspect we're talking about internet bots, rather than robots with bodies, arms, hands, and occasionally, legs. I don't see how VR and AR could reduce the bot's language skills, which leaves the foreign employees who were mentioned. When I lived in Germany (and didn't speak much German), I learned the routine for ordering a cup of coffee -- the same routine everyone else in line used. It didn't expand my vocabulary, but I did get practice in pronouncing the words, and it did improve my overall pronunciation of German words. I think conversations with bots to accomplish a task or access information would be similar. Certainly the bot could be programmed with a broader vocabulary, but that would change the purpose of the bot. I'm leaning towards the idea it would be more efficient to offer a separate language learning program, rather than trying to combine a language education program with whatever purpose the bot is supposed to serve. Chatbots might be helpful (though its vocabulary would still have some limitations.)
Andreas K. If we combine VR/AR with glasses, we can do whatever we want, and your use case can also be covered. The biggest problem will be connected to the projected information, how it will be processed by our brain, and what side effects are caused.
Andreas K. Yes, that is technically feasible to establish control remotely on machine or robot using HoloLens. However I am not sure as to what are you trying to achieve with this integration in terms of language skills of foreign employee?
