I went to through many articles and found that planting density has little influence on the quality of silage but I am wondering due to competition for nutrients, light, water etc. there might be difference in sugar accumulation in the plants and sugars are the fermentable source of energy during ensiling process.

I would agree that in the early months after planting that leaf:stem ratio may have some influence. I have no information for annual crops but for perennial crops, after the first year planting density becomes irrelevant. Agromonic practices (cutting/grazing frequency, fertiliser/manure application etc.), light intensity, temperature, species, ploidy etc. will determine the eventual plant density in a perennial forage crops rather than planting density.
At least in corn and fodder cane crops, the sowing density has presented statistical differences in the concentration of nutrients.
