The intensity information of the Bragg peaks give the information about the structure. In fact for determining the grain size it is suffice to know the peak shapes and not the relative intensities of different Bragg peaks. Please read standard books on X-ray diffraction viz. Warren or Cullity.

Thanks Tapan, what kind of information's about the structure, can it tell the crystallinity of the peak with the intensity....if not then what other structural properties it can tell? 

If you have indexed the diffraction Bragg peaks and have  determined their intensities ad if you have a rough model of the structure then you can try to refine the sructural parameters wth these intensities by some least square programs available freely in the internet. In case you have no rough model of the structure then you have to determine a structure model first by different known rystallgraphic methods. The structural parameters together with the space group symmetry matrices cangive the positions and thermal mtions of all atoms in the unit cell.

Thanks a lot Tapan, I will put the question straight, We two in our lab had a discussion regarding my XRD graph, he told me that among two of my samples one is crystalline (with reasonable intensity) and the other one is more crystalline (with higher intensity) I told him that crystalline nature could be understand from the noise in the peak like if the peak is much noisier with the original peak positions of what ever intensities, or if we have a broad peak in a diffraction pattern and not  showing any matching peak positions of the material ...then the material is amorphous and not crystalline and we can not tell about how crystalline is a material from the intensities, kindly help us clarify our-self....thanks a lot...Prof.

The crystalline sample should show sharp Bragg peaks whereas the amorphous substances should show only very broad peaks. The width of the sharp Bragg peaks give your information about the crystallite size. If the width is large then the crystallite size is small and vice versa. For amorphous materials the width is very large. This simply means that the correlations between the atomic positions are very short. The amorphous broad peak positions may coincide with the crystalline Bragg positions telling us simply that the local structure (nearest neighbor distance and angles) of the amorphous substances is very similar to that of the crystalline counterpart.

If the substance is crystalline and we get well defined Bragg peaks then you can refine or dertermine the crystal structure. For amorphous substances you cannot usual crystallographic technique to get structure. You can however get some information about the atomic distances and also perhaps angles (indirectly) in the local scale by Fourier transformation technique.
