In my point of view, the medium is very specific to lactic bacteria

that  depends on the matrix from which you are isolating bacteria from.  I've isolated staphylococci, streptococci, enterococci, leuconostoc, weissella and enterobacteria on MRS media, from dry fermented sausages. 

This is a specific media for lactobacilli. Although, I agree with the comment made by Dr. Ana.
