If I sonicate nanoclay epoxy mixture and don't use it for say 30 minutes, provided it is well below the pot life of epoxy and hardener, will it cause the deagglomerated and dispersed nanoclay to come together and form agglomerates again ? I am for sure know that the settling of nanoclay in the bottom will not take place because the densities of epoxy and nanoclay are close to each other.

Yes there is a possibility of agglomeration of nano-clay particles when their charges are robbed off by one or the other means. They remain segregated as long as they are charged but once nullified they have a tendency to agglomerate. Moities formed of opposite charge to that carried by nano-clay shall be responsible for bringing about agglomeration during sonication.
