As well known,metformin now has so many good effect for human,and even ,it could cure cancer,it could lead the tumor cell to death via the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway,for example,as the ampk-p53 pahway.Everyone now regard metformin as a all-powerful drug,but I want to know,when the metformin be used as an anti-tumor drug,could it also do harm to the normal cells,as the cardiac myocytes?
