Then, I believe that meditation can do that, because meditation trains the mind to think, to focus and to concentrate. Besides that, when we think of positive thoughts, and meditate on those things, our mental health gets a boost.
May I share with you, from the Bible: 'whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things.' (Philippians 4:8)
Any sort of study is meant for knowledge .Knowledge is a power which has no end in itself .
Study requires present of mind & demand a concentration .A practice of Meditation offers a tranquility of mind & which is absolutely essence in the progressive mind of study .
What a lot of people seem to not realize is that there is many forms of meditation, whether it be from yoga, martial arts, gymnastics, philosophy. Many of these variation have a very different purpose and/or intent.
An example would be the use of Shivasana (corpse pose) in Sivananda Yoga. this meditation is used between each exercise to maximize the benefit of the previous exercise, "to let the body properly absorb the experience."
another meditation may be seen in many sports activities before a competition where the practitioner meditates on the action about to be performed.
And even more popular meditation in the martial arts is zanshin (残心), commonly referred to as the "remaining mind". This refers to the focus after a confrontation where the combatant "remains in the situation after the conflict." there is a saying in Japan, "When the battle is won, tighten your helmet."
In short, if you concentrate or meditate on your study to be done, this will get you "in the zone" to study. And then again, meditate afterwards on what you have studied. This will certainly aid one in their studies.
