Well, I don’t think the heart has anything to do with emotions! The brain has a built-in, continuously updating algorithm that signals likes, dislikes, and other feelings. Essentially, the brain makes decisions based on stored data. For example, a child might favor one parent over the other based on their behavior. Similarly, adults like someone because of how they think, handle various situations, and so on. This is just my personal point of view, and I haven’t read any formal research on the matter.
Love is often considered to reside in both the heart and the mind. The heart symbolizes the emotional and passionate aspects of love, while the mind represents the cognitive, rational, and decision-making components. Together, they create a holistic experience of love that encompasses feelings, thoughts, and actions.
