nowadays the researcher are having more interest in light weight application on Aerospace as well as biomedical application.so i have interest to research in magnesium material but it has less resistance to corrosion.so dear researchers/scientist kindly give me suggestion, which process is suitable to prevent the corrosion of magnesium materials.
The heat treatment process reduces the accumulated internal stresses from previous technological operations (casting, plastic deformation). This naturally leads to a change in the structure of the material. Its corrosion resistance also increases. It is likely that the corrosion resistance will deteriorate after heat treatment. This happens if we have thermal quenching instead of annealing
I agree with Emil. After the heat treatment you need to check for your microstructure, precipitations and the chemical distribution in the material (e.g. segregation or chemical differences at grain boundaries). You should also check for lattice defects as they will act as prefered corrosion starting point.

The general rule is: the more likely a metallic microstructure offers possibilities to have anodic and cathodic spots, the more galvanic corrosion resistance will decrease. So, peak age hardening will affect corrosion resistance. Your question's answer is affirmative.
Annealing can yield a fully homogeneous solid solution with less anodic and cathodic spots, thereby minimizing galvanic corrosion.
Another factor in heat-treatment is the production of precipitates (which may be suggested from the question). These precipitates can have 2 potential effects to reduce corrosion properties: (1) reduction in elements within matrix that can contribute to corrosion resistance, (2) precipitates can act as sources for pitting / corrosion. If so consider the composition and size of precipitates.
