Some species of salicornia grow well in heavy soils. S.europaea as Dr.Sagi mentioned haven't Tried yet.

Despite this differentiation, Can you tell me the range of soil salinity and crop specifications?

I will study your researches. I apologize, My purpose actually was about soil and climate specifications. I wanted to try some halophytes such as Salicornia species in Iran. In south of Iran, considerable saline waste water that might be suitable for halophyte cultivation. Some native species tested but S.europaea never tried yet.

Hi, I have seen some species of salicornia in Zabol and Agh-ghela at southeast and northeast of Iran, respectively that grew in heavy soil and desert climate.

Sandy soil is the best!
