I have been having unusually high TOC values for my effluent sample. I injected only peroxide in the TOC analyzer and got over 6mg/L TC. I am wondering if this is a contribution from H2O2 or my double distilled water is the culprit.
Before a TOC analysis we add a Na2SO3 solution to the samples, according to the stoichiometry between H2O2 and Na2SO3, and H2O2 concentration, ensuring the removal of the remaining H2O2.
