i say no.....because it may be due to Laws of Refraction in different Mediums !!!!!
When a ray of light goes from rarer to denser medium, the ray (refracted ray) bends towards the normal in the denser medium.
If ray of light travels from denser to rarer medium the refracted ray bends away from the normal.
this what i trust ...
i may say we are following general relativity blindly without thinking this concept (Laws of Refraction in different Mediums).
its not gravity but due to the Laws of Refraction in different Mediums... it not gravity but Laws of Refraction in different Mediums acts as a kind of magnifying lens, brightening and bending the distant starlight....

i asked this question based on a logic; light bends when it enters from rarer medium to denser medium.... so if vacuum is rarer medium then gravitational field is a denser medium ...so light have to disperse..
but your way of answering a question is like empty vessel make much noice.....no one is perfect in this entire universe
every time im talking physics though it may be right or wrong but you are talking like as to fulfill personal grudge on me....im always talking with you by pronouncing as a family member but every time you pronouncing me as a stupid rather than discussing physics in a humble manner... plz change your way of mentality for the development of physics family...
