Recently, I received an invitation from a conference to submit my papers there. My doubt is does Elsevier-SSRN(ssrn.com) Conference proceedings have some value, (or are they also treated as preprints) ?
Previous year, that same conference had published their proceedings in Springer. But this year, they are going with SSRN.com for conference proceedings. I am wondering, does this lower the conference value ? As, I am not much familiar with SSRN.com Apart from the info that it now belongs to Elsevier, (but so does sciencedirect)

The ranking/prestige/reputation of a particular conference is way more important that the 'quality' of the publisher. In other words, look at the event, not where the proceedings will be published.
